Lewinsville Retirement  Completed in October of 2003, this $3.6 million project includes an 18-unit apartment dwelling with two meeting rooms, conference rooms, and offices, in addition to a bridge connecting the new facility to the existing retirement residence. Construction is of brick and block with poured concrete floors that utilize the Hambro System floor joists.

Bowie and FredericksburgABC Award of Excellence
 When HeartFields wanted its assisted living residents to feel at home, Scott-Long was their first choice. To enhance the 27,350SF Bowie community, located next to a golf course, we provided attractive landscaping, outdoor lighting, and courtyards, plus award-winning construction. The 68-unit Fredericksburg location features stately architecture with a wrap-around porch. Also included in the facilities are:
- Individual suites with bedrooms, kitchenettes, easy-access showers, emergency response systems, and cable TV
- Full commercial kitchens
- Dining rooms
- Hair and beauty salons
- Nurses’ stations
- Activity rooms
- Bathing suites with hydro tubs
Sunrise of Bluemont This three-building, 151,000SF, 176-unit assisted living facility presented the unique challenge of meeting institutional requirements while maintaining a Victorian home atmosphere. Special features of the project included:
- Three complex roofing systems
- Six miles of base wood molding
- Three miles of crown molding
- 86 wall coverings
- 10 different types of carpeting
- Full commercial kitchen
- Preservation of a 150-year-old white oak
Manor Care of Fair OaksScott-Long is proud to announce that we have been awarded the Addition of 10 Skilled Nursing Rooms at the Manor Care Fair Oaks. This is our first project with Manor Care and it commences in July 2009!
